Having been blessed to catch this man live in Singapore is probably one of the best treats I've ever given myself in my entire adult life. Herbie Hancock is as amazing as he is enigmatic. He is like no other Jazz musician I've ever come across, ever so charismatic in his performances and his music pieces are downright interesting and I mean interesting in every sense. When you think Jazz, you normally think cigars, whisky, hushed whispers and maybe a leggy blonde on your lap but even though Rockit is under the genre of Electro, it's still as abstract and improvisational as Jazz normally is.
