Sharing this recipe because it was loved by my children. It has a hint of cinnamon coupled with the subtle sweetness of the maple syrup, and also a little savoury.
This recipe makes about 12 small waffles, which can make into 4 meals for my children (1 & 5 years old). I undercook the waffles and freeze them to keep them for another time. Whenever we are going to eat waffles for breakfast, I just pop them into the fridge at night and bake them in the oven in the morning till they are warm enough to our liking.
The combinations are endless with these waffles - eat them with fresh fruits, yoghurt, butter, jam and even plain!
