Wondering what life in Melbourne was like during the Covid-19 lockdown?

A collection of images depicting iconic venues and locations in the city ‘on pause’ during the global pandemic provide interesting insights and the opportunity for Melburnians to reflect. You can see photos of empty hotel rooms, hidden rooftops, deserted stages, new laneway street art and many more.

Curated by the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Digital Time Capsule Exhibition can be enjoyed for free at the Melbourne Visitor Hub at Melbourne Town Hall from now till 28 February. The exhibition is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
