Singapore Hawker Food : Indian Rojak

Are U Hungry 😋?

@ Ayer Rajah Food Centre, 503 West Coast Drive. Stall : Habib’s Rojak #01-68

Handpicked the ala-carte varieties of Indian Rojak, my all-timed favourite @ $5.00+

What’s so good 😊?

Indian Rojak is uniquely Singapore, as it’s basically ... Rojak means mixed Fried Fritters of many different kinds. As Singapore 🇸🇬 is multicultural, multi-religion, multi-racial, East meet West cuisine, can be found easily. In short, we are akin to mini-United Nation with a large population of expats living and working here too, beside the locals. Our hobblies, we simply love ❤️to eat ... 😮 🤩

Made fresh daily, in the wee hours of the morning, handcrafted 🖐 🤚 with many different variety of shape and size, their fried dough fitters, made from flour and other mixed flour, added stuffings like prawns 🦐, egg 🥚, potatoes 🥔, then pre-fried on spot, served hot. Typically, it’s sold out by early evening. It has good following and foodie crowd knows where are the good Indian Rojak come from ... 😮 🤩

After he received my handpicked favourite stuffs from their stall, I was asked to seat and await while they deep fried on the spot and in quick time, deliver to my table... less than 5 mins of wait.

Garnished with green chillies 🌶 onions 🧅 and cucumber 🥒 and a bowl of homemade sauce. Photo eats and piping hot 🔥, I forked my favourite prawn dough fritters into their orangey sauce, made from potatoes, sweet yet spicy, with bits of peanuts for crunchiness. it’s so amazingly rich and so tastefully ✅ and soooo sedap (great !), so flavourful as each piece of their fried dough w/ stuffings are unique and somewhat different, mixed with different spices as well. I am just lovin ❤️ it !

After the heavy carbo built up, I drowned myself with a piping hot glass of Teh Tarik Halia (Indian Muslim Pulled Ceylon Tea w/ milk & ginger) ☕️ with that creamy broth, for enhanced digestion and flavour ! 😋

It’s truly Indian Rojak ... Yummily😋 Great 👍!
