What’s so good 😊?

After refueling my Hybrid MPV car, it’s time for dinner 🍽, arriving at nearby Clementi estate, surveying for a little while, decided this stall, placed my order and await.

Within 12 mins, my plate of piping hot 🔥 Mee + Bee Hoon Goreng + sunny egg 🥚 served to my table nearby. I always loved to have combo Mee + Bee Hoon as it’s texture allures me most with the softer Bee Hoon entangled with the Mee and looking 👀 at the Noodles strand coating of the sauce they may have used.

Btw, Goreng means frying with oil in the wok, a Malay word though but being Singaporean’s we loved to “rojak” our sentences time become Singlish, that’s so uniquely Singapore 🇸🇬 ! (Perhaps future lessons on Singlish ... 🤔)

As much as Char Kway Teow Mee is frying noodles for the local Chinese ; Mee Goreng is to local Indian/ Malay ... 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍

It’s X-factors :

1. Goreng of Mee + Bee Hoon frying well and blended with their Indian sauce that makes the noodles (Mee + Bee Hoon) seems orangey red ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍

2. Mixed Noodles frying well soft; not too oily and not overcook nor charred and their frying ladle used to cut or shorten the length of the noodles, so that it fit right into your mouth 👄. ⭐️

3. Ingredients include : egg, mutton cube pieces, slices of potatoes🥔, tau gek. Garnished with tomatoes 🍅 sauce at its side and on top of the sliced cucumbers 🥒 typically ! In addition, if U see green chillies 🌶 cut or slices inside - confirmed Indian Mee Goreng style as their favourite is green chillies 🌶 for its spiciness and unique flavouring ⭐️

4. My special request of a sunny egg 🥚 1/2 cooked with the egg yolk at the centre, that’s my favourite and always like to trim the sides b4 putting into your mouth to let the eruption lava (yolk) come out from the volcano 🌋 ! This stall does it very well, so well choreographed in the way the Chef cook this egg ! That’s a plus ! + 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
