Singapore Hawker Food : Mee Pok Fishball (dry) with sambal chillies

Are U Hungry 😋?

@ Blk 85 Redhill lane/closed Food Centre

Stall: Ru Ji Kitchen #01-25.

Ordered Mee Pok Fishball (dry version) @ $3.00/ bowl with free soup 🥣.

What’s so good 😊?

To me, as a foodie guy, what impressed me to come again and again ... its Food quality and consistency are my number 1 criteria before I roll out any inspirational writeout ... this stall never fails me, same goes for its other branches from East to West region ! 😮 🤩

Their Mee Pok (Flatten egg noodles) cooked to perfection, with separate sauces mixed together : A little pork lard oil + tomatoes 🍅 sauce + their powerful homemade sambalised chillies 🌶 and stirred well then added crunchy pork lard cubes, making the noodles delectable, flavourfully and tastefully done ✅

Their sambalised chillies 🌶 is their secret weapon ! Coupled with their daily freshly hand made 🖐🤚 fish balls ⚽️ and fish 🐟 cakes 🍥, always so soft, QQ, bouncy, springy and flavourful with overall texture, little or no fishy smell, its simply great ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍

It’s soup broth superbly clear and tastefully soothing with sweetness built into it and devoid of MSG ...

Be prepared to Q for at least 20mins during peak hours. So, come early ...

Similarly, I had tried their other branch stall @ Old Airport bearing the same name : “Ru Ji Kitchen”. It’s brand name resonating consistency of great food that make eating great, enjoyable, memorable & spicy-fully great !

It’s “Ru Ji Kitchen” ... Yummily 😋 Great 👍!
