Our family all-timed favourite for Prawn šŸ¦ Mee @ Beach Road Prawn Noodle House, occupying 2 shop-houses.

Its an extended family running business which has 2 stalls : Prawn šŸ¦ noodles managed by the younger brother with wife and children taking over; which also sells drinks.

While another stall : Ngoh Hiang manned by another brother and sister-in-law.

Together, has a team of PRC staff + local @ kitchen in a production line process flow doing - preparing the ingredients ; preparing the noodles type; cooking the noddles, adding chillies if dry and needed; cooking the fresh prawns and pork ribs, as per your ordering, adding the soup, and other local uncles and aunties team shall helped to clear and clean tables fast per their friendly smile and great services !

Whatā€™s so good šŸ˜Š?

Itā€™s sambal chillies is spicy šŸŒ¶ and freshly fried onions šŸ§… and pork lard are key ingredients that make good of the Prawn šŸ¦ noodles for dry version. Soup version available too. Itā€™s added pork ribs are good with edible soft bonesšŸ¦“ and tasty & flavourful soft meat too ! The price of a bowl of prawn noodles has gone up considerably to min. $6 now. Still worth it as the value and quality sustained.

Next, itā€™s soup šŸ„£ do not smell too heavily of prawns smell and likely added with their secret recipe, which may include some bits of rock sugar to make the soup extra tasty šŸ˜‹, do add dash of chillies powder into the soup for extra boost Flavours to the soup and noodles ! As always, feel free to request for replenishment of the soup... you shall not regret as itā€™s the old school kind of taste!šŸ˜® šŸ¤©

With the Ngoh Hiang : fried dough fritters comprises : century egg, Tau kua, fish ball, Ngoh hiang, Popiah, Prawn šŸ¦ crackers - all these our familyā€™ favourites and itā€™s home made chillies - spicy šŸŒ¶, sour & little sweet tickling taste. Itā€™s simply a Must have for our family, as side dishes... pairing with the Prawn noodles.

Itā€™s Prawn Mee + Ngoh Hiang ... Yummily šŸ˜‹ Great !
