Originated from 32 Upper Cross Street, this is their branch ... opened shop for just couple of weeks here ... run by 3G now ! š®
As I was awaiting for my noodles š, I canāt help but to observe the inside workings of the kitchen and uncovered how semi-automated machine that this stall had deployed to good use ... noodles were spread out and thrown into the strainer that dipped into the hot boiling water to cook (sek mee) then added to cold bath b4, then branching with warm water prior to serve on plate ...With the pressing of the time setting to cook ! š®
Upon collection and photo eats 1st.
Prior to chopstick the noodles š, itās the testing of the soup come 1st ... savoury with light peppery, tastefully done ā , clear soup with vegetable Chye Sim , likely to have brewed with chicken feet and other ingredients, pretty liking it !
Next, itās fine noodles š well cooked to perfection, springy & QQ with smooth texture and itās sliced chicken breast and wing meat, braised under slow fire š„, absorbed the soya sauce well with light salted and grossly shiny skin texture, meat tenderised, layered on top of the Chye Sim veg. for a well balanced diet.
Itās dumplings š„ soup, amazingly great as itās dumplings of finely minced meat, blended with bits of prawns š¤, water chestnut š°, mushroom š created a great juiciness inside and the skin dough of wonton skin soft and smooth with firm grip of its ingredients.
Pairing with cut green chillies or their chillies vinegar infused sauce, created the tingy taste to your taste bud.
Itās tagline : āOriginal taste since 1949ā holds great promise of consistency, quality of its famed Soya Sauce Chicken everyday ... š® š¤© āļø š
