47 George St, The Rocks

Saturday 8 August from 11am to 1pm & 2pm to 4pm

Love it or hate it, you can’t deny the fact that Kombucha is the new viral trend crashing the health food market. So much so that most cafes and restaurants have started stocking it for their health-conscious customers!

Kombucha is a fermented drink made from sweetened tea and a specific culture known as a 'scoby'. Scoby stands for ‘symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts’. It is a source of probiotics, high in antioxidants and contains essential vitamins and minerals.

In this workshop, Cheriss Health will teach you the stages of fermenting, brewing and flavouring your very own Kombucha. You’ll also learn the two stages of fermentation and safe brewing techniques and sterilisation.

This is a free event.
